About Mrs. Dworak
A little bit about me:
Even though I grew up in Chicago, I traveled to River Grove to attend Mother Guerin High School where I sang in Choir and played violin in Orchestra. During this time I was also the organist at St. James Church in Chicago. I knew I wanted to follow in my piano teacher's footsteps so I attended DePaul School of Music. I earned both my Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree there. I was lucky to be hired in District 71 right out of college and have been with Niles, District 71 since. This year marks my 33rd year. I love teaching and can't think of a better place to be. I am so proud to be a part of an amazing school, it's students, teachers and community.
A little bit about my family:
This year, my husband and I celebrated our 30th year of marriage. We have two wonderful children. Our son, Adam is 29 and works as a Senior UX designer in Minnesota. He is very creative and good at his job. Our daughter, Renata, was the Assistant Director of Choirs at Princeton University for the past three years. In June, her husband's job took them to Ethiopia where they are both working at the American Embassy and experiencing the beautiful culture of Africa and it's people.
